Quindar is a web app used by satellite owners to analyze, test and operate their constellation. For example, Airbus could use Quindar to operate their satellite fleet with minimal human intervention. We’re six former OneWeb engineers who helped build the software platform that currently operates the second largest satellite constellation in the world. The space industry is shifting from companies launching a handful of satellites over a decade, to launching hundreds of satellites EACH in just a few years. Our SaaS platform automates mission management and for a single engineer to operate hundreds of satellites instead of the traditional model of many engineers operating a single satellite.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building a web app used by satellite owners to analyze, test, and operate their satellite constellations. Our platform automates mission management so a single engineer can operate hundreds of satellites without extensive manual intervention. The idea is to replace the traditional model where many engineers operate one satellite each, enabling scale for companies launching large fleets quickly.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Denver, CO, and plan to base the company here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Denver is our current home and where our team is located. There is a growing aerospace community here and it's important for us to stay tight-knit and close to where we build and operate our product.
