Permutiveの事業内容

As third-party identifiers like the cookie disappear, ad-tech breaks - targeting, frequency capping and measurement disappear. We're rebuilding data infrastructure in advertising to work with cohorts - privacy safe descriptions of users - which enable advertising use cases without the need for sharing personal identifiers. We do this by moving data processing and management out of the cloud, and on to the user's device.

Rebuilding data in advertising to protect privacy

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build data infrastructure for advertising that moves data processing and management from the cloud onto the user's device. This lets publishers and advertisers use cohorts - privacy-safe user groups - so they can do targeting and measurement without sharing personal identifiers. Our product solves the collapse of traditional ad-tech caused by phasing out third-party cookies.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in London, England, and the company would be based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose London because the advertising and privacy regulation ecosystem here makes it the right place to build technology that protects user privacy while enabling advertising. We're rooted here and can directly work with local publishers and advertisers who face these problems.
