Loula is a software platform and national provider network for independent birth & postpartum doulas to boost their practices by accepting health insurance. Doulas typically operate outside of the traditional healthcare system and face an enormous learning curve and administrative burden when trying to accept insurance. This is why we created Loula. Starting with doulas in California, Loula handles their credentialing, contracting, and revenue cycle management so that they can focus on delivering the best quality care to their clients.

Helping doulas accept insurance easily
We built a software platform and provider network that handles credentialing, contracting, and revenue cycle management so independent birth and postpartum doulas can accept health insurance without the usual administrative burden.
We live in New York, NY, and the company is based there and will remain so after YC.
New York is where our team is based and where much of our industry network is. We're focused on building a national provider network starting with California doulas, but operating remotely fits our work model best.
