What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building the first full-stack AI store manager focused initially on grocery stores. Our product runs on an on-premise GPU, monitoring the store 24/7 using computer vision to detect theft, spot health and safety issues, and improve customer service. Eventually, it will integrate with POS and ordering data to automate tasks like ordering inventory, pricing, and delegating staff work.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York City now and plan to keep Kirana AI based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York has a strong retail presence and access to the grocery market segment where we have deep family experience. Being here lets us stay close to early customers and directly validate our product.
