A platform bridging mobile text messages, email, and IM communication without needing to download anything. Users can send mass messages on any of the platforms and JumpChat will send it to the platform the receiver activates. They are currently focusing on mass mobile messaging, where users can shoot off mass messages to the groups they define.

Mass messaging across SMS, email, and IM platforms

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We have built a platform that lets users send mass messages to groups they define via mobile text, email, or IM without needing to download anything. It routes messages to whichever platform the recipient prefers, so users don't need to worry about which channel they're using. Our current focus is on mass mobile messaging, making it easy to coordinate or broadcast to groups via text.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in Palo Alto, CA and the company would remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are in Palo Alto because it places us at the center of the tech ecosystem, close to key users and networks relevant for mobile and messaging products. Staying here after YC makes sense to maintain those connections and continue building.
