What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building a modern version control system designed specifically for digital entertainment creators. Diversion handles large binary assets, complex project files, and integrates with tools like Unreal Engine. It lets game studios, animation houses, and VR production teams track changes efficiently and collaborate on massive files without the slowdowns and limits of Git or Perforce.

We live in San Francisco, CA, and after YC the company will remain based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose San Francisco for access to engineering talent and proximity to potential customers in gaming and virtual production. Staying local after YC keeps our team focused and connected to the ecosystem.
