We are building Convoy for engineering teams that value efficiency, especially during this bear market. You might already know about API Gateways. Convoy is exactly that for webhooks. Engineering teams today use Convoy to securely send, receive and manage millions of webhooks reliably with robust support for retries, rate limiting, static IPs, circuit breaking, rolling secrets and more. We know both receiving and sending webhooks can become a lot of work to manage, we have built a product to enable engineers to build and ship highly scalable stripe-like webhooks infrastructure.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Convoy to handle webhooks at scale for engineering teams. It's like an API gateway but specifically for webhooks - managing sending, receiving, retries, rate limiting, circuit breaking, rolling secrets, and static IPs. This reduces the operational work engineers usually face building webhook infrastructure.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We have a distributed team across London, Los Angeles, Nigeria, and remote. After YC we will likely stay distributed but maintain a legal base in London and LA.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Engineering teams managing webhooks are distributed globally, and our team reflects that. We want to be close to our users and talent everywhere rather than centrally located.
