What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build a tool that takes unstructured text data and extracts information to automatically generate a knowledge graph. The graph can be browsed and queried via web app or API. Users can ask complex questions that require aggregating information across multiple documents, and Ardis AI returns answers along with the evidence. We also provide summaries of the main topics discussed in the data. We're working on an Elasticsearch plugin and natural language question support next.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Mountain View, CA, and the company would remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Being in Mountain View puts us close to our technical resources and potential customers. YC is here too, so it fits with where we've already been working and building.
