Amika is infra to build your software factory. We give your team sandboxed AI coding agents in the cloud: the same infrastructure Ramp, Coinbase, and Stripe built in-house. Kick off work from a web UI, CLI, Slack, or API. Use your preferred coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, etc.). Each agent understands your codebase, runs autonomously, and ships real PRs with live previews of the apps it changed. Use it as your daily driver or plug it into your own code-gen pipeline via API.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We provide sandboxed AI coding agents running in the cloud that teams can use to build software faster. You can start work from a web UI, CLI, Slack, or API and use your preferred coding agent like Claude Code or Codex. Each agent understands your codebase, works autonomously, and ships real pull requests with live previews. It's the same internal infrastructure that companies like Ramp, Coinbase, and Stripe built themselves but delivered as a product.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, USA and the company is based there as well. After YC, we plan to keep the company rooted here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We're based in New York where we have access to strong engineering talent, proximity to customers, and can work closely as a small founding team. YC is remote-compatible so we don't need to relocate, but we appreciate the flexibility to be based here.
