If a developer wants to build an app like Instacart, they need to know a dozen different technologies and how to make them work together - Wasp solves this problem while still letting developers use React, Node.js and their other favourite tools. We will enable enterprises to build modern apps quickly at scale, like Databricks did for data management.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

Wasp is a configuration language designed to simplify building enterprise web apps. Instead of wiring together many technologies manually, you write high-level specs and Wasp generates the working code using React, Node.js, and other familiar tools. It reduces complexity, lets developers focus on their app logic, and enforces best practices out of the box.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Zagreb, Croatia and will remain remote, but the company will be globally distributed after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are based where we live and work remotely. This lets us tap talent worldwide and stay flexible.
