What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an SMS and RCS messaging API optimized for startups. Our API makes it easy to send SMS with features like a faster onboarding dashboard, monitoring tools, and simpler 10DLC compliance. Startups get a lower-cost, developer-friendly alternative to bigger players like Twilio, with a setup that reduces approval times from weeks to a couple of days.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, with a remote team. After YC, we would remain based in New York but continue supporting remote work.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is where we started Sendo and where we built the product. We chose it because of the access to engineering talent and the startup ecosystem here. Remote work keeps us flexible, so the location suits us well.
