Rally is what Zoom breakouts should have been. Users can hop between groups easily, while seeing and hearing the other groups around them, as if they were in a shared space. Rally is perfect for happy hours, networking, and other social gatherings. We are being used by institutions like Amazon, Harvard and a multitude of startups across North America.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Rally to fix social video calls. Unlike Zoom, where breakout rooms are isolated, Rally lets users hop between groups freely and hear other groups nearby, recreating the vibe of a real social event. It works for happy hours, networking, and casual meetups.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Toronto, ON, Canada, and the company is based here with some remote work.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are remote-friendly but headquartered in Toronto, where all three founders live and build the product. Being together locally helps us move faster and collaborate closely.
