What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Highrise, a virtual universe where people create and explore social experiences and games. The platform allows developers and amateurs to build immersive worlds that others can visit and interact with.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Austin, TX, and the company is based here as well, with some remote team members.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Austin gives us access to great tech talent and a reasonable cost of living. We can build here while supporting remote engineers.
