Our first product is a "container runtime", the software that creates the containers. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Sysbox, a container runtime that makes Linux containers behave like virtual machines. It integrates with Docker and Kubernetes so engineers can run containers with VM-like isolation and flexibility, but with better performance and portability across clouds.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Jose, CA, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose San Jose because it's where we are currently located and it positions us close to our industry and potential customers in the infrastructure space.
