We're building an open-source humanoid robot capable of walking, talking, and manipulating objects. The robot is designed to handle boring or tedious tasks most people don't want to do. By releasing the design publicly, we aim to foster a community that can improve and adapt the robot for various uses.
We live in Palo Alto, CA, and the company is based here.
Palo Alto is where the founding team is based and where we have access to robotics talent and hardware resources. Staying local keeps communication fast and allows us to iterate quickly on physical prototypes.
