Fern builds developer tools that generate SDKs and API documentation from APIs. We solve the problem that APIs are often untyped, inconsistent, and out-of-sync across multiple documentation sources. Our product makes it easy for companies' engineering, product, and design teams to ship API docs and SDKs their users trust and actually want to use.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY and the company is based in Brooklyn, NY. After YC, we would continue operating from New York.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Brooklyn is where our engineering and product team is located, and it's a hub for tech talent we work closely with. Staying here keeps us close to customers in the B2B SaaS and developer tools space we're serving.
