What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build vocational training programs combined with workforce management software specifically for government agencies. Our product helps them create high-paying jobs and up-skill low-income and justice-involved citizens to move out of poverty. It's a platform that combines curriculum, case management, and job placement in one tool tailored to these programs' unique needs.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, where Emerge Career is also based. After YC, we plan to remain here as the core of our operations.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is where we have direct access to government clients and communities we serve. Being here keeps us grounded in the day-to-day realities of justice-involved individuals and workforce agencies.
