What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building Datamode to help data engineers quickly diagnose problems in their data pipelines. It connects directly to the tools they already use and surfaces where and why data issues occur, cutting investigation time and improving pipeline reliability.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

I live in Seattle, WA, and the company would be based here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Seattle is where I am now and where I built the product, so it's natural to keep the company here. The remote nature of data engineering work also means being tied to Silicon Valley isn't required.
