We built Afriex to make it easy and fast for immigrants to send money home to over 25 countries. Our product removes common hassles: delays, high fees, and opaque pricing. Users can transfer money instantly at low cost, which matters when supporting family abroad.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

San Francisco's tech and startup ecosystem gives us access to talent and funding. It's also where our team is currently located and where our founders, John and Tope, live and work.
