Active clad-alignment fusion splicer
We build View 3, an active clad-alignment fusion splicer designed for fiber optic technicians. It uses the world's highest fiber image magnification rate to align and splice optical fibers accurately and reliably. This approach reduces errors in fiber optic fusion splicing and improves dependability in the field.
We currently do not have a fixed location. After YC, we plan to base the company wherever it makes the most sense for engineering and manufacturing, possibly near key fiber optics markets or technology hubs.
Because this is deeply technical hardware and optics work, proximity to manufacturing and fiber optics users is important. We are flexible on location and will prioritize access to customers and technical resources.
