People with chronic skin conditions such as eczema have a harder time regulating their skin's pH. Soteri's patented pH/LOCK™ locks skin in at a therapeutic pH for 12+ hours, which is shown to help break the cycle of skin sensitivity, whether you have eczema, psoriasis, or just a bad sunburn. Our formulations are aesthetically elegant (non-sticky, sit well under makeup, etc), safe for anyone to use, and don't require a prescription. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We make a direct-to-consumer skincare line specifically for chronic skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Our patented pH/LOCK™ technology keeps skin at a therapeutic pH level for over 12 hours, which helps break the cycle of skin sensitivity. Our products don't require prescriptions, are safe to use daily, and improve skin health visibly within weeks.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Francisco, CA, and the company will remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where both of us live and where our network and manufacturing partners are located. We want to keep the company grounded in a city with strong access to product, talent, and our early user base.
