We are building a consumer health wearable and at-home monitoring devices that replace bulky optical instruments with silicon photonic chips smaller than a postage stamp. Our product measures biometrics through nanosensors embedded in these chips, enabling continuous health tracking that was previously only possible in clinical settings.
We live in Boston, MA, and the company would remain based here after YC.
Boston has strong photonics research and hardware engineering talent, which fits the specialized silicon photonics work we do. Moving after YC would only slow us down.
