Expanding from our roots in food processing technology, we now specialize in producing premium biochar from palm kernel shells. Biochar Carbon Removal (BCR) is a powerful tool for carbon sequestration and a key technology for economic development in Africa. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We produce biochar from palm kernel shells, turning agricultural waste into a carbon removal product that also improves soil fertility for farmers. This biochar sequesters carbon in a stable form and helps farmers increase yields in a climate-impacted region. Our mission connects carbon removal with real agricultural benefit.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and operate in Lagos, LA, Nigeria, and the company would be based here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Our operations and target users are in Nigeria, where agricultural waste is plentiful and farmers face severe climate impacts. Staying local keeps us close to supply chains, the communities we serve, and the environmental problem.
