We are building Heptabase, a visual knowledge base that helps students, researchers, and lifelong learners organize and master complex topics. It combines note-taking with AI tools to help users structure their thoughts, link ideas visually, and improve research workflows.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in London, England and operate remotely. We would remain remote and flexible after YC, with a core team based around London.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose London as our base because the founders live here and it's a good location to build a global, remote-first team. YC participation doesn't require relocation, so we'll stay remote to maintain our agile workflow.
