We build Emdash, an agent-first development environment that lets engineering teams run multiple coding agents in parallel. It's an open-source, provider-agnostic desktop app designed to help software teams develop faster by automating workflows across different coding tasks.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in San Francisco, and the company will be based here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we already live and work. Being here keeps us close to the core developer community and key collaborators in the software ecosystem.
