This replaces custom databases and the surrounding infrastructure, making it simpler to build data-driven web apps.

We live in San Francisco, CA and the company will remain based here after YC.

San Francisco is where we live and where the developer community we serve is concentrated. It also makes sense to be close to investors and other startups in productivity tools.
