What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a smart oven designed to cook meals perfectly with minimal effort, paired with a weekly subscription meal delivery. The oven scans a code on our meal packaging and automatically cooks it to the right settings, making home cooking convenient without sacrificing quality.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Chicago, and Tovala is based in Chicago.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Chicago is where we started, and it provides access to food partners, engineering talent, and a great city to build a consumer kitchen product. We see no reason to relocate after YC.
