We built a lending platform for independent financial advisors and high-net-worth clients. Our product lets them borrow against securities portfolios quickly and cheaply, without the typical paperwork and hurdles.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Francisco, and SyntheticFi will remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our early users and partners are, and where talent in fintech is concentrated. It keeps us close to the financial advisor community we serve.
