What Synapticure does

Personalized virtual clinical care is finally here for neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and related Dementias (Cognitive), Parkinson's and Huntington's (Movement), and ALS (Motor neuron). We provide a novel approach to care in these diseases, centering a patient and caregiver around a coordinator who quarterbacks patients through our full Multi-Disciplinary Care Resources to local aid, PT/OT and home health support. When you leave our clinic, it's not with a handful of paper referrals, but with our coordinators helping you book and find the best physicians, DME, trials, and even cheapest prescriptions. We are devoted to helping patients, from guidance on care and insurance to providing the full spectrum of investigational and clinical testing to improve outcomes. Synapticure was built by leading patient and caregiver advocates alongside leading clinicians, biotech executives and telemedicine executives to bring the neurodegenerative disease care and treatment experience into the 21st century, and is backed by the leading Venture funds and investors in the remote health and life sciences space.

We don't just hand out referrals; coordinators help book appointments, find the best specialists, and ensure patients access affordable prescriptions and insurance guidance to improve health outcomes.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We are based in Chicago, IL with a remote team distributed across the U.S. Post-YC, we plan to keep the company headquartered in Chicago with ongoing remote work.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Chicago gives us access to a deep healthcare network and experienced executives in biotech and telemedicine, which is critical for a specialized healthcare services company like ours. Being remote-friendly helps recruit the best talent across locations without geographic limits.
