SOUNDBOKS was founded in 2015 by three young Danes who shared the same love and passion for music, amazing parties and festivals. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building and selling a portable, battery-powered speaker designed to be the loudest on the market. It's rugged and meant for outdoor use at parties and festivals where existing speakers fall short on volume and portability. Our product serves people who want to take their music anywhere without sacrificing power or sound quality.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the company is based here today. After YC, we plan to maintain our base in Copenhagen while expanding internationally.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Copenhagen is where we started and built the first prototype. It's our home and where we have access to manufacturing partners and a passionate early customer base in Scandinavia. We want to keep our team stable and close to our roots while scaling globally.
