What Olam Labs does

Multi-agent environments let us evaluate and train models in complex, simulated worlds. We work with researchers on both evaluations and training for character and agentic performance typically difficult to assess for using current popular datasets. Play one of our first releases, Multi-Agent Arena ( where humans come play social strategy games against multiple AI agents. It's currently top 50 on OpenRouter and has thousands of matches played each day. We use Multi-Agent Arena to build datasets on agentic performance and real-world socialization.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building multi-agent simulation environments for evaluating and training AI agents in ways that go beyond what standard datasets allow. Our main product is Multi-Agent Arena, where humans and multiple AI agents play social strategy games. Researchers use it to test and train models on complex behaviors that are hard to measure elsewhere. We also generate real-world data on agentic performance and socialization.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're based in San Francisco, CA, and will remain here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where much of the AI research community is located. We're close to collaborators and early users, and being in SF helps us stay plugged into the ecosystem.
