What Nextop does

Nextop IO is a mobile content delivery network (CDN) that optimizes the path between mobile applications and back ends. We built Nextop IO, a mobile CDN that improves how mobile apps connect to their backends. It's a client-side library for iOS and Android that uses a network of proxies with a custom protocol to speed up delivery, increase throughput, and reduce data and battery use. We also provide metrics so developers can see connection quality and debug issues in their apps.

We are remote currently and plan to base the company where it makes the most sense after YC, but location is flexible since the product is developer-facing and distributed.
