What Moving Atoms does
Our first model, Atom 1, pre-trained on the internets video, and fine tuned for physics. It has been action conditioned, so you can simulate robot actions within it. This lets Robot Labs train their robots using GPUs instead of relying on human collected manual data that is slow and expensive. In unseen and hard to replicate environments, this is the only path to getting ANY training data.

Moving Atoms
World Models (VR) for training robots
We are building Atom 1, a virtual world model trained on internet video and fine-tuned for physics. It is action-conditioned, letting robotics teams simulate robot actions and generate synthetic data for training. This means labs can train robots using GPUs, not slow and expensive manual real-world data collection. Our users are robotics researchers and engineers who need data in environments that are hard to capture physically.
We are based in San Francisco, CA, and would stay based there after YC.
San Francisco is where the robotics and AI ecosystems are strongest, and it's where our small team works together. It also puts us close to early users.
