We are building cmux, an open-source terminal designed specifically for coding agents. It lets developers run, manage, and interact with AI-driven coding assistants in a terminal environment. The product streamlines how developers use AI tools to write and debug code in their daily workflows.

We live in San Francisco, CA and will base the company here after YC.
