We built a coding assistant that works with open AI models. It matches Claude Code's performance but costs 5x less in token fees. It's a CLI tool developers install and use directly to write and improve code with AI, optimized for open model infrastructure.

We live and work in San Francisco, CA. After YC, the company will remain based here.

We're in San Francisco because both of us are here now, close to the engineering and startup ecosystem. It's where we can recruit, meet users, and stay connected to the AI developer community.
