What Lightly does
When ML teams send their data to companies like Scale.ai for labeling, most can only afford to label 1% or less of their datasets. But today they don’t have a good way to pick which 1% to label. We help them pick the best 1% of their data to label. By labeling the most representative data, they significantly improve model accuracy at the same cost.

Help ML teams label the right data
We built a product that helps machine learning teams pick the most useful subset of their unlabeled data to label. Since most teams can only afford to label about 1% of their datasets, we help them select that 1% to maximize model accuracy, instead of picking data at random or by guesswork.
We live and work in Zürich, Switzerland, and the company is based here now and would stay here after YC.
Our whole team is here, and depends on the strong engineering talent available in Zürich. We don't see a reason to relocate the company after YC.
