What Marble does

Marble is the first AI-native operating system for the restaurant back-of-house. Restaurants, cafes and bars still run on a patchwork of disconnected point solutions, spreadsheets, clipboards and tribal knowledge, which costs the industry billions each year in stockouts, food waste, and lost profit. Marble replaces that entire stack with one system. Computer vision and voice AI capture real-time inventory levels 90% faster than manual counts, ML models forecast item-level demand at 97% accuracy, and AI agents run dozens of end-to-end workflows autonomously, from procurement and invoice reconciliation to scheduling, food prep, menu engineering, and more.

The autonomous back-of-house for restaurants.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building Marble, an AI-native operating system for restaurant back-of-house teams. Marble uses computer vision and voice AI to track inventory in real time, machine learning models to forecast demand, and AI agents to automate workflows like ordering, invoice reconciliation, scheduling, and food prep - all in one platform. We replace manual, disconnected processes with a single system built specifically for how kitchens actually run.

We live in New York City, NY, USA, and the company will remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York City is the center of the US restaurant industry and gives us close access to early customers and pilot kitchens. We want to stay close to the operators using Marble day-to-day.
