What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building reusable suborbital spacecraft designed to launch payloads and people quickly anywhere on Earth by flying through space. Our vehicles reduce transit times drastically compared to planes by accessing the near-space environment as a transportation route.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Los Angeles and plan to keep Inversion Space headquartered there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Los Angeles is a hub for aerospace talent and supply chains. We have access to testing sites nearby and a growing ecosystem of hard tech startups.
