What Endla does

Endla increases the value of oil & gas wells by providing software that helps design the well that maximizes ROI. Our product AlphaSpace, optimizes the well design by automatically producing many high-quality options which the engineer can then measure against their business objectives (auto-design). Having software that finds the optimal solution, empowers the engineer to work a layer up on understanding the problem and specifying the important objectives. Our vision is to make auto-design and auto-operation software part of the workflow for every engineer working with physical assets.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

Our main product, AlphaSpace, automatically generates many high-quality well design options. It helps engineers identify the well design that maximizes return on investment by allowing them to measure each design against their specific business goals. The software shifts engineers from manual trial-and-error to focusing on defining objectives and understanding trade-offs.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, and the company is distributed remote. After YC, we would either remain remote or consider moving to an area that best supports our growth but currently are focused on remote work from Brisbane.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Our team is based in Brisbane, and we have built our product and team around this location and remote collaboration. This fits well with the niche oil & gas engineering market we serve, and we value staying here at least initially for continuity.
