What Codyco does

This it how it works: - They send their missed calls to us. - Our AI answers and takes the booking. - The booking goes right into their PMS. Even with call centers and central reservation departments they are still losing 5% of calls. That is a seven figure revenue leak. Why us? We used to build software that can’t fail for massive companies. We started Codyco after a friend told us how much money he was losing from missed calls. We built the first version just for him. Now we give hotel groups the reliable AI they need, so they never lose a booking on the phone again.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an AI system that answers missed calls for hotel groups and takes bookings directly into their PMS. Hotels send us their missed calls, our AI picks up, handles the conversation, and secures the booking. This prevents lost revenue from calls that otherwise go unanswered, even when call centers or reservation teams are in place, because they still lose about 5% of calls.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We don't have a fixed company location at the moment. After YC, we would base the company wherever makes the most sense to grow and scale, likely a major tech hub or where we find the best talent and customers.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We started remote because the founding team is spread out and we wanted to focus on product-market fit without the constraints of location. After YC, we'll choose a location based on customer access and hiring opportunities.
