We built Carousel, an AI assistant that helps finance and accounting professionals build and edit Excel spreadsheets and financial models in minutes instead of hours. It handles complex multi-tab models, imports data from PDFs, CSVs, presentations, and images directly into Excel, walks users through spreadsheet architecture, and formats models professionally. It also creates dashboards for data visualization. Our tool is like having an expert right inside Excel, faster than relying on an intern or manual work.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and plan to base the company in New York after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are already working and living in New York, close to our early users and finance/accounting customers. It makes sense to build where we have connections and the market base.
