Captain Tailor is the Uber for tailoring

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an on-demand marketplace called Captain Tailor that connects people who need tailoring services with local tailors quickly and conveniently. Customers can schedule pickups and deliveries of their garments without needing to find a tailor themselves or wait days. We handle the logistics and ensure quality service throughout.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York City and San Francisco, and after YC, the company would be based between these two cities.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose these locations because both cities have significant demand for tailoring services and a strong network of tailors. Also, being bi-coastal allows us to test and operate in two distinct markets, speeding up learning and scaling.
