What Abstra does

We built a platform that lets finance teams build, run, and automate workflows with Python and AI. Instead of spreadsheets and manual steps, users create programmable pipelines for tasks like reporting, reconciliations, approvals, and system integrations, including with ERPs like SAP. Finance and engineering teams collaborate using our developer-friendly environment to turn processes into code they control and audit.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We are based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a remote team. After YC, we plan to remain remote but might have a stronger presence where the market demands.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Rio de Janeiro is where Bruno and most of the founding team live. It gives us access to local tech talent and finance professionals, though we support remote work to tap into global talent and clients.
