Describe what your company does in 50 characters or less.

AI-native materials discovery from unpublished data

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building an AI-native platform for materials discovery, powered by unpublished and discarded experimental data. Labs share previously disregarded results with us, and we use AI to extract new insights and help them discover promising materials faster. Our product directly connects with research labs to unlock the value of failed and not-yet-published experiments. The goal is to accelerate breakthroughs in advanced materials for the industries that need them most.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and the company is based here as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is the center of AI and deep tech talent, which is critical for our work. Most of our partners and earliest labs are also here, so it makes sense to build in San Francisco.
